Lone Star State OL Marques Uini talks commitment to Arizona State
Copperas Cove (Texas) offensive lineman Marques Uini announced his commitment to Arizona State on Monday.
Uini chose to play for head coach Kenny Dillingham and the Sun Devils over offers from Michigan, Stanford, Baylor and TCU among others.
“The welcoming environment, the hard work and dedication, all the kids have at ASU pushed me further and further into making Tempe home,” Uini said. “I feel like I’ll be able to develop on much more levels than strictly football.”
The 6-foot-5, 300-pound Uini becomes commit No. 8 for Arizona State in the 2026 class, adding to a haul that is tops in the conference and No. 21 in the nation.

“Everything stood out everything felt amazing from talking to coaches to talking to players,” Uini said. “They all were the same up open and honest.”
