Junior Adams Discusses the WR Room this Spring
Oregon wide receiver coach Junior Adams met with media Saturday after practice. There were tons of questions about his receiver room and some early Spring thoughts.
Adams went into detail on a number of individual players and talked about his room as a whole. You can read some of the top comments below with the video included.
On Tez Johnson:
“The one thing we always talk about is growth. What can we get better at. When it comes to Tez, move him around a little more. Two is his eyes, when it comes to reading coverages. We’re working on that.”
On competing against the DB’s:
“Iron sharpens iron right? Jabbar’s playing good, Nikko’s playing good. You got some good young guys. You got Sione stepping in. You look at today’s practice and it was high energy.”

Losing Troy Franklin:
“Obviously Troy had a good season. You return everyone but you lose Troy but you add Evan Stewart. That room is really in tact and we’re really excited about it.”
On Traeshon Holden:
“Just route details. He’s catching a lot of balls with his hands now, not body catching it. And he’s coming out with a good attitude every day.”
On Jurrion Dickey:
“He’s come a long ways with it. He still hasn’t been here a year yet, and we forget about that. He’s putting in the work. He’s getting to the film, taking notes in meetings.”
