Welsh High School (WHS) is a public high school in Welsh, Louisiana, part of the Jefferson Davis Parish School District. It serves students in grades 9-12 and has a close-knit community, with around 315 students enrolled. The school is known for its strong athletic programs, especially in football, where the Greyhounds claimed a state championship in 2017. WHS also competes in baseball, basketball, and other sports. Its mascot is the Greyhound, symbolizing speed and determination.
